Guide to Infantry-only Sieges
Infantry-only siege is a type of siege that is similar to Movecraft Sieges, but differs in a very significant way: no movecraft vehicles. Only ground troops can compete in these sieges, and they operate very differently mechanically as well.
Winning these sieges can provide income for your faction!
How to start a Siege
On certain days at certain times, the siege zone will be available for siege. Upon the availability requirements being met, a player must do the following to start a siege.
Enter the Infantry-only Siege Zone
Enter the command
/infantrysiege begin <zone name>Once this is entered, the siege will begin its preparation period, which lasts 8 minutes
In the preparation period, other players can join the seige by entering the command
/infantrysiegejoinUpon entering this command, the player will be teleported to the siege region
Rules
Keep inventory on for all players participating
Movecraft vehicles will not be allowed to enter the zone
Players who die will respawn in their faction's spawn zone within the siege region
Players must wait through the 10-second respawn window before returning to combat
Players receive no damage for the first 3 seconds after respawn
How to Win
Sieges are split into two stages: Preparation and war. After the 8-minute preparation period, the war stage begins and lasts for 20 minutes. After the 20 minutes is up, the team with the most points is victorious.
Points
Points can be earned by killing other factions' players or by holding beacons. A faction holds a beacon by having one of its members standing at least 3 blocks away from a beacon.
You can check the score in a siege by entering the command /infantrysiegepoints <zone name>
